T8223 chassis provides an integrated operating environment and a single point management solution for computing, storage and network resources of T8000 to improve system integration, decrease system deployment time, and improve space utilization.

The system is compliant to PICMG 3.0/3.1 standard. The internal components,  such as server blades, switch blades and load balance blades are interconnected through redundant high speed system fabric and meets the carrier-class high reliability requirements.

 

Integrated System Architecture

T8223 is 14U high and integrates the server, storage, GE switching, FC switching, SAS switching and the load balancing components into a single integrated system.

Single Chassis can support maximum 12 server blades s. Depending on the power environment of data center, the Chassis can be deployed to racks optimized deployment. Comply with RoHS and PICMG standards.

High-Reliable Passive Backplane

There is no active component on the backplane.

Supports high-speed interconnection among components in the chassis.

Supports the dual star Ethernet, storage network and IPMB bus to ensure the redundancy interconnect of networking, storage and management system.

Redundancy Power Supply System

T8223 adopts the integrated power supply and provides the redundancy power supply solution of DC and AC environment.

  • Centralized power supply lowers the power consumption. Compared with the traditional rack server, the power consumption is reduced by 20% or more.
  • On DC power environment, the redundant DC power inputs enable the reliability of the power system.
  • On AC power environment, the redundancy AC/DC power conversion module provides over 90% power conversion efficiency.
Powerful Heat Dissipation System

T8223 provides powerful heat dissipation capability which can ensure the stable and reliable operation and performance of the user hardware system.

Adopt the high-performance fan, which can provide enough wind rate. The heat dissipation capability is up to 4800W and the heat dissipation is even.

Support intelligent fan speed adjustment. The system can automatically adjust the fan rotation speed according to the temperature; thus, saving system power consumption for users.

The fan module supports hot swap and N+1 redundancy.

System Management Module

The system management module supports 1+1 redundancy and supports hot swap. It connects to management components on system boards such as server boards and network switching boards through IPMB. The system management module helps

users to perform equipment management, status monitoring, maintenance operation, alarm and log, and asset management functions on the T8223 chassis system. It also provides reliable system maintenance functions, such as configuration recovery, KVM over IP, energy saving control and virtual media.

KVM over IP

Users can virtualizes local KVM operations by using the Video, keyboard and mouse of a remote client to monitor and control the server blade, and operates functions such as set BIOS, monitor the OS startup, power on or off the server blade manage four servers at the same time, and display the operation status through multiple windows.

Configuration recovery

T8223 shelf management module stores the configuration information of switch blade and load balance blade. When components are replaced, the configurations will be automatically recovered. This function can help user quickly recover services and enhances the system availability.

Energy saving control

Users can preset the working frequency of the processor according to the workload, or can let the system automatically adjust the working frequency of the processors according to the workload.

Virtual media

Supports virtual media and provide remote virtual drives and FDD services.
